About ATD Central Iowa
The Central Iowa Chapter of the Association for Talent Development is a 300+ members strong with a governing board of volunteers who lead chapter efforts. Our chapter provides members with a wealth of opportunities to learn and develop within the talent development profession.
ATD Central Iowa Chapter has provided a wide range of events over the years to serve the community, specifically targeting learning and development professionals, and now, with the change to ATD, targeting talent development professionals. Our organization impacts professionals at all levels in their career and strives to partner with organizations in the community allowing us to bring dynamic speakers to our members. These partnerships not only benefit our organization; they benefit the community. We have been honored multiple times by the national Association for Talent Development organization, including the National Chapter of the Month and Share our Success awards. ATD Central Iowa chapter leaders have also been able to share their expertise by presenting at the ALC conference for chapter leaders.
The ATD Central Iowa chapter's goal is to engage members by providing programs to support personal and professional development and continuous growth. Our goal is to increase member engagement throughout the entire year and to understand what membership needs and wants, then deliver it. The profession of talent development is a rapidly changing environment. One filled with limitless possibilities for our professionals to learn how to better connect with employees and impact the business bottom line.
