What is a SIG?

A SIG is a smaller group within our chapter whose members have a shared interest in a specific topic related to talent development. Driven by group member interests, SIGs are a great way to network and get ideas and information about something that matters to you.

Leadership SIG

The purpose of the Leadership SIG is to explore new possibilities, share best practices, and build relationships in order to develop your leadership ability and develop leadership capacity in others.

The Leadership SIG meets the third Friday of each month from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held virtually via Zoom.

The Technology Special Interest Group (SIG) engages the talent development community in collaborative discussion and workshops to solve problems, spark ideas, and expand their knowledge and skills around e-learning and the use of technology to support talent development.

The Technology SIG meets virtually from 8 - 9 a.m. the first Friday of the month via Zoom.

Non-Profit SIG

The mission of the Non-Profit SIG is to serve our communities and help enhance employee engagement at non-profit organizations in Central Iowa by offering leadership and personal development training at no cost to individuals who work for local non-profits through Non-profit SIGs.
