Presenters: Erin & David Lego

Erin has spent most her career in the leadership development space. Erin spent the early part of her career working with a non-profit, then transitioned to the corporate world. She currently works part-time as a leadership coach where she is helping to establish a coaching culture within in the organization through group and one-to-one coaching. In addition, she has her own Leadership Coaching business and works with individuals, small businesses and organizations based on their needs. Erin is passionate about helping leaders become empowered to create change in their world, live out of their passion, and hone their communication skills through developing coaching skills. Erin is professionally credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). Outside of developing leaders, Erin is likely to be found spending time with her husband, Dave, enjoying a beautiful sunset, a good cup of coffee or cheering on her favorite high school and middle school athletes. 

Dave Lego has been with Nationwide for 20 years. During his tenure with Nationwide he has held several leadership positions in the services area, Workforce Management, Farm Underwriting Manager, and most recently Commercial Agribusiness Underwriting Manager supporting the Western region. He holds a Master’s Degree from William Penn University. Dave has 3 children, Dawson (19), Jake (17), and Addison (13). In his free time, Dave enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Erin, attending his kids’ sporting events, playing cards, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

Session Summary

Consistent coaching provided to team members is a must for today’s work place. To provide this type of coaching, leaders need to focus on communication with their teams, provide timely feedback and look at coaching as much more than one time performance coaching conversations. It’s about coaching along the way. Join us for this session to learn more about what it means to coach along the way, what’s important in communication with today’s team members, and why building trust is at the heart of it all.
