Topic: The importance of Trust and Conflict (Yes, conflict!) on a cohesive leadership team

Time: 9AM to 10 AM

Description:

Over the next few months we're going to take a deep dive into Patrick Lencioni's book The Advantage. We'll be breaking down the four disciplines that Lencioni says are required to create a healthy organization. They are: 1) Build a Cohesive Leadership Team, 2) Create Clarity, 3) Over-communicate Clarity, and 4) Reinforce Clarity.

Although reading the book isn't required to participate, we highly recommend you get and read the book. It's proven to be a game changer for us. Don't worry if you haven't read it though, a book summary will be sent with your registration.

This month we're going to discuss the first discipline. An organization simply cannot be healthy if the people who are chartered with running it are not behaviorally cohesive in 5 fundamental ways. In any kind of organization, dysfunction and lack of cohesion at the top inevitably lead to a lack of health throughout.

The 5 behaviors we'll discuss are Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results.
