Angela Berns, CVA, CAVS is an accomplished workforce and volunteer services leader, consultant, and trainer with more than 18 years of experience advancing people, culture, and organizational performance across healthcare, nonprofit, and community sectors. As a national consultant, she partners with hospitals, associations, and community organizations to strengthen engagement strategies, modernize volunteer programs, and design leadership development and recognition initiatives that align with today’s workforce expectations.
Known for her ability to connect purpose with performance, Angela helps organizations cultivate meaningful engagement - whether through employees or volunteers - that drives learning, retention, and lasting impact. It is currently free to all nonprofit professionals, regardless of whether they have a membership with ATD.
